In agreement with the determinations of the Normative Ruling 669/94, the National Tourist offer, associated to the traditional production of green wines, allows to stimulate the development of the Tourist potential of the Rooms of Proofs, Museum spaces associated to the traditional agriculture of the vineyards and respective vinification, and dynamism of the Routes of the wines, as well as publishing the attractive views, ethnographical and cultural of the area of the vinhos Verdes.

"The Vinho Verde is an only product in the world, which the mixture of the taste and the needle he turns in one of the most delicious National drunk".

Quinta da Cela has an annual medium production of 55 pipes of Vinho Verde V.Q.P.R.D., whose grapes are transformed by the vinification process.

In the reservation of the house that remounts to several centuries "ramadas "can be observed behind in arch with breed grapevines "Espadeiro", "Tinta Nacional", "Vinhão", "Borraçal" and "Verdelho "for consumption of the house.

The Society Agricultural Quinta da Cela, Lda with thirst in the Casa da Cela, adapted the space of the old Cellars and presses in Room of Proofs in a way of allowing to offer to 20 people of every time the visit to this space agricultural museum installed at the old porch and to observe equipment of other times associated to the agricultural works, as they are cleaners of cereals, grating, plows, sowers, car of oxen, linen ripeiros, manual grater of grapes, manual bomb of transfer of wine, equipment to sulphatize, sulphurator and other equipment.

To adapt-be a wine-cellar with skulls in oak wood to conserve the red wines in apprenticeship and the temperature between the 10 and 14 centigrade degrees.

The accesses to this place were restructured in sidewalk to the Portuguese, in a way of guaranteing the bus flow in conditions of safety. The Wines Route is considered as tourist complement.

Verde Tinto

The "Quinta da Cela", already recognized as Old Honor in the Inquiries of 1220,where there are one third of" autumn" in wine species, linen and rye species, and confirmed as so in the ones of 1258, 1290 and 1308, by continuing in noblemen of the ancestry of the one of Riba de Vizela, once belonged to the "Lorvão´s" Monastery and to the " Hospital Order". It is also stressed in the Santo Adrião de Vizela church´s Tumbe and it´s own encloses São Jorge de Vizela, elaborated in 1548.

This Wine produced in a very ancient parish named :" Sancti Jorgi de Cela" made of pre-Roman settlement, from noble breeds of the region and using the traditional vinification methods, through a careful maceration, resulting in a harmonious group. It should be served fresh and it´s temperature must be around 14º 16º C and it accompanies red meats, hunts and catfish.

 

Verde Branco

The "Quinta da Cela" of the Cell, already recognized as Old Honor in the Inquiries of 1220, in which they are referred Tuesdays of" autumn" in the wine species, linen and rye, and confirmed as such in the one of 1258, 1290 and 1308, for continuing in noblemen of the ancestry of the one of Riba of Vizela, it belonged to the Monastery of Lorvão and the Order of the Hospital. It is again referred in the Tumble of the Church of Santo Adrião of Vizela and his/her he/she encloses São Jorge of Vizela, elaborated in 1548.

Wine produced in to very old parish of" Sancti Jorgi of Cell" of pre-Roman settlement, starting from noble breeds of the area and it fermented to appropriate temperatures in way to evidence the whole potential of the used breeds. It should be served fresh to a temperature of 8th C. He/she accompanies fish and shellfish well.

 

Espadeiro

Wines:

The wines of Quinta da Cela are sold  in boxes of 12 bottles of 0.5 liters to the price of 30,00 €, with the exception of the special red wine whose price for box is of  50,00 €. To these values a VAT of 5% should be added.
