Quinta da Cela, a agriculture farm society patrimony located in the Lugar da Cela, Freguesia of São Jorge of Vizela, Concelho of Felgueiras, na agriculture farm is in transformation process for support to the Rural Tourism, having reconverted the structures of the old houses and implemented structures manufactured pré of shelter to the animals, inserted at the forest.

These functional and space areas intend to recover and dynamize the old farm residential nucleus, having implemented a barbecue grill covered with larera and firewood oven and support equipment, old wine cellar with recovered skulls, Vinhos Verdes Route with proofs room and museum space and swimming pool, as recreational activities and giving continuity to time, to support spaces to the agricultural area to maintain and to revitalize as the repopulation with sheep octótone species and a Kennel with Serra da Estrela long hair affix dog´s international certificate.

The dynamization alternatives and Tourism support, exist by giving form and function to the existant remaining constructions, caretakers old house and sequeiro.

In a located area in the proximities of the farm´s entrances, of easy access and maintaining a certain estrangement of the residential nucleus, the Cela´s Equine Center is composed of:

Social Area - inserted at the old house of caretakers, in the 1st floor, the house of the administrator and Horsemanship Teacher and in the inferior floor a social area, with bar / restaurant / living room, with strict connection to the Equine Center.

Sale Post - located in the old sequeiro, recovered and revitalized, staying all it original volumetric structure. In the earthy floor a traditional kitchen can be observed with fireplace, where they can be made characteristic tidbits of the area, that will be marketed at the own place and in the 1st floor an office with room of support bath.

Boxes and Picadeiro - two new structures, for operation of the Equine Center .The constructions are located in an united way in the space, pronouncing amongst themselves in an organic way and with funcional and interrelation space .The natural topography land, creates two different platforms, with functions equally different, being the Equine Center located in an inferior platform, which allows breaking the constructions volumetry of larger dimension and in a higher platform the existent constructions, that receive the social area and sale post without, however losing the intrinsic connection between compound of several components and the involving close. The existent constructions, in granite, are maintained with the same language as related to the used materials.

The language used in the new constructions, tries to articulate with the pré-existent ones without descaracterizaing and checking it continuity. The wood used in the Equine Center, it is imposed to the stone, unloading the volumetries.

The new and the old are interconnected, without being depreciated the image essence that is intended to be transmited.

Ovil - The préfabrication of the sheeps shelter interferes in the forest landscape in growth, constituted by chestnut trees, Beech trees, oaks, walnuts and other species and the land was since times plowed remote and destined to pasture cultivation and linen, checking this way the continuity in green fodder.

The sheep will uses the 6,3 acres of the farm from October till March and in the remaining 2,3 acres have permanent grazing-ground, where the fences will be criteriously executed.
